With schools shut, and a lockdown keeping children at home, finding new ways to entertain them has become a challenge for most parents. And here are some innovative lockdown activities children.

Lockdown Activities Children – Story Time
At the same time, entertainment outlets like theatres have had stop their shows too. Ranga Shankara, a vibrant theatre venue in Bangalore has found a creative outlet for themselves that keeps children entertained at home.
Since April 18th, 2020 onwards, Ranga Shankara has gone digital with a storytelling program, the Little Cloud on YouTube. This program is set to continue till April 28th.

Lockdown Activities Children – Little Cloud
As part of the program, storytellers will present two stories for children between the age groups of 4 to 6 years and for children above the age of 6 years.
These stories are prerecorded and will be released everyday on Ranga Shakanara’s YouTube channel. The first story will be presented at 11am and the second at 11.20am.
These stories will be presented in 6 languages, English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Bengali and sign language. To keep their audience entranced, the sessions could also include the use of props, puppets and live music. While some will be told in indoor settings, others will be shared in outdoor settings.
