The pink line metro Bangalore is a major north–south corridor of Namma Metro’s Phase 2, connecting Kalena Agrahara in the south to Nagawara in the north across 18 stations and is 21.25 km. This Bangalore metro pink line combines a 7.5 km elevated stretch (Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere) with a 13.76 km underground section running through Dairy Circle, Shivajinagar and Cantonment up to Nagawara. Once fully operational, the Bangalore pink line metro will link with the Purple Line at MG Road and the Yellow Line at Jayadeva Hospital, easing travel across central, southern and northern Bengaluru.

Pink Line Metro Bangalore Timings and Frequency

BMRCL has not yet issued final operating hours for the pink line metro bangalore, as timings will be confirmed after safety trials and CRS approvals. Once launched, the line is expected to follow standard Namma Metro hours of roughly 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekdays, with trains every 5–7 minutes during peak periods and slightly longer gaps on Sundays, similar to other corridors on the network.

Pink Line Metro Bangalore Route

The elevated stretch of the pink line metro Bangalore, from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere, is in its final stages ahead of a phased opening around September 2026. The underground section from Dairy Circle to Nagawara — tunnelling for which was completed back in December 2024 — is progressing through finishing, electrical, signalling and platform screen door work, with a launch expected around March 2027.
