Is the Golden Chariot worth it?
The Golden Chariot is an expensive way to travel, but it removes the hard parts of a heritage trip across South India: no hotel changes, no long road journeys and no queues at monuments. It suits travellers who want comfort and a guided experience, couples marking a special occasion and visitors with limited time. If you prefer to travel independently or on a budget, KSTDC’s road tours cover many of the same places for far less.
