All about Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023

Voting for the 16th Karnataka assembly will be held in a single phase on May 10. The counting will be on May 13. The election process will be completed by May 15, 2023.

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar made an announcement in this regard. The code of conduct is already implemented.

In the 15th assembly, the BJP currently has 119 MLAs, the Congress has 75, and the JDS has 28. 

Among the 224 assembly constituencies, 36 are reserved for the Scheduled Caste, 15 are for the Scheduled Tribes, and 173 are for the General Category.
