With the help of the tools of Information and Communication Technology, the Government of Karnataka established a well-designed portal. The aims of the portal – Davanagere One- is to provide many services to the citizens of Davanagere at one spot.
Davanagere One – An initiative towards one-stop shop
This initiative under Karnataka One has helped people save both time and cost. Services that were once scattered across different places are all combined and embedded in one platform to make these services available for citizens at one place. So, instead of moving from one place to another to get various services, citizens can make use of Davanagere One portal.
There are many hopes attached with this portal. Citizens are relying for their better life on this portal. Since Davanagere Portal acts as a one-stop shop, citizens are really looking forward to this initiative.
By registering on Davanagere One portal, you become eligible for many services like recharging, making transactions, paying bills etc. and that too sitting at home and performing all these online. There are many different services listed among include are police verification services, RTO, CSC Services, Food services etc.
Davanagere One – services provided
E-Filing of returns: Tax-return facility available.
RPO: You can apply for passports and get your queries resolved related to passports.
Property Tax: Payment of property tax is also available.
RTO: Issuance of B-extract of transport vehicles or DL extract, Challan and Learner’s license renewal.
Police Verification Services: Citizen Verification by police for various government services.
CSC services: Mobile prepaid recharge, data card recharge, DTH recharge and LIC payment.
Food services: To avail service of ration card, citizens can get enrolled here.
Municipal Corporation services: At any Davanagere One service centre, water bills can be paid.
DESCOM: People belonging to different sub-divisions can pay their electricity bills at this stall.
Excide Life Insurance policy: Citizens can renew their Exide Life Insurance policy.
KSRTC: Citizens can book KSRTC bus tickets and also apply for cancellation.
Bangalore University: Fee payment of Distance education of Bangalore University can be done at any Davanagere One centre.
PUC Applications: Students belonging to PUC can avail services of PUC at Mangalore One, like re-totaling, Revaluation, and PUC results.
Government and Private Job: Job seekers can register for job alerts and purchase application forms.
DISH TV: DISH TV recharge is available at Davanagere One portal.
EPIC CARD: Citizens can avail services of issuing the card, name inclusion, deletion or modification of details of the card.
Mobile bill payments: Post-paid bills can be paid here by the people using networks Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, MTNL, MTS and BSNL.
UIDAI CARD: Identification cards for citizens are generated.
Davanagere One – Location of service centres
There are three service centres in Davanagre.
Apart from government declared holidays, these centres are working for 365 days from 8am to 8pm.
