The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) exam is one of the most important for all medical, engineering and dental aspirants. The exam will be conducted across multiple exam centers in Karnataka and other states. Here are a few things you should know regarding the exam.
AbouT the Test
The COMEDK exam is conducted in English in a morning and afternoon slot.
- Morning slot: 9 am -12 noon
- Afternoon slot: 2 pm – 5 pm
The test has 180 multiple-choice questions with 60 questions each for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There is no negative marking and each correct answer gives you 1 mark
Questions will be based on the 2021-22 class XI syllabus and the 2022-23 class XII syllabus

Fees
All candidates must pay a non-refundable fee + GST to give the COMEDK exam.
- COMEDK UGET PCM fee: Rs 1800
- COMEDK + UNIGAUGE PCM fee: Rs 2950
This fee can be paid through Debit or Credit card or net banking. Payments made through debit/credit cards have a 1.05% – 1.15% convenience fee while the convenience fee for payments made through net banking ranges between Rs 18 and Rs 45.
Mock Tests
As many as 7 Mock tests will be made available on the COMEDK website and on Uniguage.com to familiarize students with the test format. These tests will be available only to registered candidates. No score will be awarded for these tests.
