Major Exams Held In Karnataka
SSLC Examination
The SSLC Examination in Karnataka is held by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board. Around 8.5 lakh students appear for this exam in Karnataka every year.
The exams are held during the month of March or April. A supplementary examination is held in the month of June for the benefit of those students who failed in the SSLC exam.
CBSE Examinations for 10th and 12th
The CBSE or the Central Board of Secondary Education in India is a national level board that comes under the Union Government of India. CBSE has both public and private schools under it.
Every year the CBSE conducts the final exams for class 10 and class 12 during the month of March and the results are published by the month of May.
ICSE Examination For Class 10 And ISC Examination For Class 12

CET Examination
The CET or the Common Entrance Test is a competitive exam held every year in India. The purpose is to give students admissions for medical, dental and engineering degrees in the professional colleges.
COMEDK Examination
The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka or the COMEDK has a number of professional colleges in Karnataka under it.
The COMEDK entrance examination is conducted to select students on the basis of merit to get them admission to one of these colleges in Karnataka for their choice of course.
