Yediyurappa assumed office on July 26, 2019, and proved the majority on July 29. The CM run the government as a one-man cabinet for over 20 days before finally announcing the 17 member cabinet. The new Karnataka Cabinet Ministers list also includes former CM Jagadish Shettar.

Water Resource Minister, Ramesh Jarakiholi resigned on March 3rd, 2021 due to sexual harassment allegations, and CM, Yediyurappa will be handling the portfolio until a new minister is allocated.

- Laxman S Savadi.
