The BWSSB (Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewage Board) has decided to give a payment holiday for water bills since the entire city is shut down.
However, the BWSSB is encouraging all individuals, households, industries and commercial establishments who have access to the internet services to make use of the online services to pay their water bills. They can either pay the bill online directly through the official website of BWSSB or use the different mobile apps available.
The payment apps include the BWSSB Payment App or digital payment wallets like Google Pay or Paytm.
How To Make Your BWSSB Water Bill Payment Online Using Different Mobile Apps?
Follow the step-by-step process given below to make your water bill payment online using apps on your mobile.
Pay Water Bill Online Bangalore Using the BWSSB Payment App
- Website: www.bwssb.gov.in/
- Download App: For Android
Step 1: Download the BWSSB Payment App on your mobile phone through Google Play Store
Step 2: Click on the BWSSB Payment App icon on your phone’
Step 3: Click on ‘Bill Payment’
Step 4: Select ‘Quick Pay’
Step 5: Type in the Revenue Register Number (RR Number) mentioned in your water bill (A six-digit number)
Step 6: Click on ‘Submit’
Step 7: Check the consumer details that appear
Step 8: Select the ‘Pay Now’ option
Step 9: Click on one of the payment options given there to make your water bill payment
Step 10: Select the ‘Make Payment’ option
Step 11: Once the payment has been done successfully you’ll receive a confirmation of the same
Using Google Pay App
Step 1: Click on Google Pay App icon on your mobile phone
Step 2: The ‘New Payment’ option has to be selected
Step 3: Tap on ‘Bill Payments’
Step 4: Click on the option ‘Water’
Step 5: You have to select the Board name from the different options that appear
Step 6: Click on BWSSB or Bangalore Water Supply and Sewage Board
Step 7: Link your BWSSB account by selecting the ‘Get Started’ option
Step 8: Type in the 6 digit RR Number mentioned in your water bill
Step 9: Select ‘Next’
Step 10: Check and confirm your consumer details
Step 11: Select the ‘Link Account’ option
Step 12: Select the option ‘Pay Bill’
Step 13: To pay your bill, choose the Proceed to Pay’ option
Step 14: Once the payment has gone through successfully, you’ll receive a water bill payment confirmation
Besides the above-mentioned apps, you can also make use of the other mobile apps like Paytm or PhonePe to pay your BWSSB water bills. The steps to be followed to make your payments are more or less the same as those of the above-mentioned mobile apps.
