By Road
You can simply cover the distance between Bangalore or Mysore and Balmuri Falls on your bike or in your car. Hired taxis are another option to reach the waterfall from both the cities. About 8 km before reaching the KRS Dam, take a right turn at Belagola village and continue driving for 3 km before you reach the riverfront and the waterfall. You can also take a bus trip to Srirangapatna and then hire a taxi or an auto rickshaw to reach the spot.
By Rail
If you board any train to Mysore or Srirangapatna, you will be able to proceed to the waterfall by hiring a cab or taking a bus ride.
By Air
Bangalore International Airport is the nearest airport to reach the waterfall. The 150 km distance between the airport and the waterfall can be covered in a hired cab or a bus.
