MCC And Property Tax Online Payment
Mysuru City is governed by Mysuru City Corporation (MCC). It is one of the oldest Urban Local Bodies in the country. It was initially started in 1921 as the town municipality by the Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar (Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV).
The city population now touched 11 lakhs, and with the idea of helping people pay their property tax and other fees and taxes easily, the MCC started collecting them using the QR code scan system.
Under the new initiative, all the properties within the MCC limits will be geo-stamped after collecting all the details, such as GPS data, the number of floors, type of construction, locality, etc.
The pictures of a building will be taken in three dimensions, and later, every building will be allotted a unique QR code. The QR code sticker will be pasted on the building wall. The owner can pay Mysore property tax by just scanning this QR code.
Mysore property tax, water bill, trade license, and other CESS levied by the MCC shall be paid through this QR code scanning. The residents can pay using net banking, UPI, credit and debit cards.
How To Pay Mysore Property Tax Online
In Mysuru, the property tax and trade license fee can be paid in two ways.

MCC Property Tax Payment Offline
A resident shall visit his nearest MCC zonal office with their property details and cheque/ cash. A challan will be generated at the zonal office, which can be paid for in the office itself. Trade licenses can be renewed in this process.

Pay MCC Property Tax Online
From the financial year 2020-21, the MCC is allowing city residents to pay their property tax online. For this, they need to visit here and calculate the tax amount.
