Presidency College was started in the year 2000 under the guidance of Presidency Group of Institutions. The Presidency Group of Institutions, corporate office was established in 1976. Presidency College began with just two courses under the affiliation of Bangalore University. College is now authorized with “A” Grade certification by National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE.
Rise of Presidency College: With just 2 courses- BCA and BBM as its first step, Presidency College was in process to achieve the tag of top colleges of Bangalore. Today, after 14 years down the line college is one of the prominent B schools in state and country and has around nine courses to offer to its students. Presently the college is one of the best business school offering MBA course, college’s biotech laboratory is ranked 4th in the country and college stands at 14th position in the country.
