Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences (AIEMS) is established keeping in mind the ever growing needs of our country. Innovation, Integrity and Excellence play an important role in the institute’s education curriculum.
The institute was set up by B.V.V. Sangha and its team of inspirational professionals who themselves have led various enterprises and are the best people to count on in their own field.
The BVV Sangha trust itself is about 100 years old and has funded and established several educational institutes at various levels. The established institutes also include many primary schools, middle schools and several hostels.
AIEMS was set up in 2008 in Bangalore and aspires to be a premiere hub of engineering and management studies. It also aims to provide quality education at an affordable cost.
The institute is affiliated to Visvesvarya Technological University (VTU) and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Courses Offered
The courses are undergraduate programs and post graduate programs. The various courses on offer are:

The post graduate course on offer is MBA. The department offers scope for research too. The MBA program is offered with specialization in Marketing, Human Resource Management and Financial Management.
Admissions
The students are admitted via CET, COMEDK and Management quota. The institute follows the norms set by VTU and admits students according to the seat matrix announced by VTU. The fee structure for all the courses are devised as per the government guidelines for the period.
The institute does not accept any donations for student’s admissions. However fee discounts and scholarships are offered to meritorious students.
Research and Grants
AIMES has a research center called ‘Amruta Shamshodna’. It has been invited by the government of Karnataka to establish a Center of Excellence for software testing. AIEMS is the only engineering college to have established a Center of Excellence for software testing in Southern India.
Campus Life
The campus life in AIME can be a refining experience for students with options of various extra -curricular activities and sports. Cultural programs organized by the college give the students an opportunity to exhibit their talents. Students are encouraged to participate in such activities which enhance their flexibility and make them more dynamic.
