Koshy’s Parade Bar & Restaurant – A Perfect Hangout For Foodies

December 7, 2012 by madur

Located at 39, St. Mark’s Road, Koshy’s offers authentic Keralite, North-Indian, British, Korean, Mughal Continental and Chinese cuisines. You can opt for something simple like steamed rice, fish curry and a vegetable dish from God’s own country or you can let your hair down figuratively and enjoy the chicken liver on toast with a ginger punch.

Kebabs, the butter chicken, Malabar-style fried pork and the fish and chips are some of the other items that stand out for their extraordinary preparation.

The prawn curry is a must-have for those who can stomach the enormous servings Koshy’s metes out. If you happen to drop in for breakfast, the bacon omelet, ham sandwiches and sausages are always a good choice.

Not a meat eater? Don’t fret, for Koshy’s also offers vegetarian delights such as their famous Spinach Bake, Matar Paneer, Kadai Paneer, Cream Palak, Baked Bean Toasts and Chutney Sandwiches. Traditional Indian items like omelets and cutlets are also on offer for those looking for a quick snack.

A superfluity of milkshakes, fresh fruit juices and deserts (ice-creams, sundaes, caramel custard, etc) guarantee that no taste bud is left unsatisfied at the end of your gastronomic odyssey. The crème de la crème is the chocolate mousse and no meal at Koshy’s is complete without a serving.

There’s alcohol as well, so washing down a good meal is never a problem. The finest single malts are available at Koshy’s. If you’re going there for the booze in particular, Koshy’s has a wide array of vegetarian, chicken, pork, beef and fish munchies designed to complement your drinking session and tantalize your palate.
