Retirements homes are gaining popularity owing to the fast graying population of the country. The country’s current ‘demographic dividend’ will soon turn grey. According to the statistics around 98 million Indians were above the age of 60 years. Hence the trend of Retirement homes is also catching up.

Most people above the retirement age today are financially independent. But then the question of living in peace and security arises as when they retire and their children migrate to other cities or countries for greener pastures. How would they live alone?

A retirement home offers solution to all these problems, providing safety, security, healthcare facilities and a good place to socialize and interact.

Retirement homes are available for people across the spectrum whether they are from the middle income group or the upper class. There are luxurious Villas available at the same time; one can also choose from apartments and other small housing projects.

Retirement homes have become a new sector in the real estate category, and many corporate can see the potential and are making a beeline for various housing projects. Like the TATA group, LIC and MAX group which have forayed into the venture.
