Gruhalakshmi Scheme Eligibility Criteria
- The primary requirement for applying to the Gruha Lakshmi scheme is that the applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
- The applicant should be a woman.
- Only one woman from a family is eligible for the scheme.
- The applicant should be listed as the head of the family on an Antyodaya, Below Poverty Line (BPL), or Above Poverty Line (APL) ration card, issued by the Karnataka Food and Civil Supplies Department.
- The annual income of the family should be less so that the scheme benefits the economically weaker sections of society.
- Neither the applicant nor her husband should be income tax payers or GST filers.
- Women who are government employees are not eligible to apply for the scheme.
- The applicant should not be a beneficiary of other similar state and central government welfare schemes.
- Applicants can update their ration card to become the head of the family and be eligible to avail themselves of the scheme’s benefits.

- Visit the Seva Sindhu Portal
- If you are a new user, click here to register.
- If you are a registered user, click here to login
- Once you have logged in, click on Apply for services
- Select Application for Gruhalakshmi Scheme
- Fill out the application by entering your personal details.
- Enter the bank details. Select the Aadhaar-linked account or a different bank account and provide the necessary bank-related details.
- Confirm your eligibility and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Click on Aadhaar Verification, enter the Aadhaar-linked OTP for authentication, and click on the Submit button.
- Review the application details, enter the word verification, and submit the application.
- Note down your application number for future use.
