1. Gruha Jyothi Scheme
The Gruha Jyothi Scheme provides free electricity to up to 200 units. The government will take into consideration the average power consumption for one year. 2. Gruhalakshmi Scheme
The Gruhalakshmi Scheme provides Rs. 2000 per month to the head woman of families to ensure and enhance financial independence. Women heads from both BPL (Below Poverty Line) and APL (Above Poverty Line) are considered eligible for the scheme. 3. Anna Bhagya Scheme
The Anna Bhagya Scheme aims to provide free rice distribution to aid families with low income across Karnataka. According to the scheme, beneficiaries who previously received 5 kg of free rice per month will now receive 10 kg of free rice. Also known as the ‘Karnataka Free Rice Distribution Scheme’, this scheme ensures food to households that hold the Antyodaya or Priority Household (PHH) ration cards. The Shakti Scheme enables women of all classes, including students, to travel at no cost on non-premium and non-air-conditioned buses. Women passengers need to produce an identification card as proof of identity.
5. Yuvanidhi Scheme
The Yuvanidhi Scheme offers an allowance to unemployed graduates and diploma holders in Karnataka. Furthermore, the government has ensured skill training, enhancing job opportunities for job seekers by linking the scheme with the Industrial Linkage Cell (ILC).
