The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) conducts SSLC examinations every year in the state. The Karnataka SSLC result 2025 was announced on May 2, 2025. Here are some salient points regarding the Karnataka SSLC result for 2025.
Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board announced SSLC exam-1 results on https://karresults.nic.in/. Compared to 2024, the pass percentage has decreased by nearly 11%. Last year, 73.40% of students cleared the examination. This year, the pass percentage has come down to 62.34%.
Among the 842,173 candidates who appeared for this examination, 524,984 students cleared it. 74% of the girl students cleared the examination, while the pass percentage among the boy students is 58.07%. 67.05% of students from the urban areas and 65.47% of students from the rural areas cleared the examination. Compared to the government and government-aided schools, private unaided schools recorded a higher pass percentage.

Dakshina Kannada tops the list
Coastal districts continued to excel in the SSLC examination. 91.12% of students from Dakshina Kannada passed the examination. Udupi was in second place with 89.96% of students clearing the examination. Another coastal district, Uttara Kannada, recorded 83.19% and secured the third spot.
Kalaburugi district is in the last spot with a pass percentage of 42.43%.
This year, the board carried out stringent measures to ensure that there would not be any examination malpractices. This includes webcasting from all the examination centers. In addition, no grace marks were awarded to any students to clear the examination, which resulted in a drastic drop in the examination.

- 921 schools in the state recorded a pass percentage of 100%
- This includes 539 private unaided, 329 government, and 53 private aided schools.
- 144 schools across the state recorded 0 pass percentage.
- These include 6 government high schools, 30 government aided high schools, and 108 private unaided schools.
- Among 4,553 children with special needs who appeared for the examination, 2,633 students cleared the examination.

- 22 students from across the state secured 625/625 marks in the SSLC examination-1.
- 65 students secured 624 marks while 108 students secured 623 marks.
- 189 children secured 622 marks while 259 children secured 621 marks.
- 620 marks scored by 327 students.
Apply for Answer Scripts through a Mobile App
Students can apply for scanned copies of the answer scripts, totaling, and reevaluation online through the Karnataka One mobile app or the kseab.karnataka.gov.in website.

SSLC Exam 2 and Exam 3
With the idea of helping the students to clear the examination and save a year, the board announced two more examinations.
- SSLC exam 2 will be held between May 26 and June 2.
- SSLC exam 3: June 23, and June 30.
May 10 is the last date for students to enroll for exam 2. Students who failed and want to improve their ranking can also appear for examination 2.
The students can apply for the examination from their respective schools. The Education department will hold remedial teaching classes for those students who failed in the examination during the summer vacation.
