The admission to the courses follows the VTU norms and the GoK rules.
Further the admission to the first year of all engineering courses is dependent on the candidates passing the twelfth standard or the equivalent exam with not less than 45% aggregate marks. The compulsory subjects in the twelfth standard exams include Physics and Mathematics with other subjects like Chemistry, Computer Science, Bio-technology, Biology and Electronics.
The eligibility criteria for admission to the master’s program is possession of a degree certificate. The degree course should be a minimum of three years long, recognized by a university or the student may take an equivalent exam recognized by a university. An aggregate 50% marks is required for admission. Reservation of seats both in the under graduate and post graduate courses is according to Government regulations at the time of admissions.

Sri Ashok Kheny, the Chief Patron of the college is a well-known public figure in India, especially in Bangalore. With over 33 years industry experience, Ashok Kheny has held major positions in projects like infrastructure, transportation and telecommunications in the USA and in Bangalore. He was involved in the design, construction and engineering aspects of numerous projects across the world. He has brought his vision and dynamic presence to the Nandi Institute of Technology and Management Sciences.
A. Rudra Goud
The college is managed by the Auden Institute of Education Trust. A. Rudra Goud, the chairperson of the Auden Institute of Educational Trust and has held various positions in the fields of accounting and financial management for over 25 years. The industry background has given Mr Goud a strong sense of people management, organizational development and management resource utilization. Through this experience, the chairman has been instrumental in bringing the Nandi Institute of Technology and Management Sciences to the position it currently holds.
T Mahadeva
T Mahadeva is the Trustee Secretary of the Auden Institute of Education Trust. An Electronics and electrical engineer by profession, Mahadeva has over 17 years industry experience. He has been variously involved in Infrastructure and Software development companies in the US and in India. He possesses an uncanny ability to bring pre-eminent infrastructure, human resources and an educational structure that is truly global to the college. His guidance and administration have been instrumental in shaping Nandi Institute as it is today.
Y. Naga Narasimha Reddy
Y. Naga Narasimha Reddy, a trustee in the Auden Institute of Education Trust, is a Communication and Electronics engineer by trade. 10 years in the industry have given him an expertise in fulfilling social obligations, his current responsibility in the Nandi Institute of Technology and Management Sciences.
Apart from the board of trustees, the college is well supported by a host of faculty, governing council and an advisory board. With such luminaries leading the college, it is no surprise that the Nandi Institute of Technology and Management Sciences is leading the rankings in Bangalore.
