Kinvah Wine from Nandi Valley Winery

With an array of wines appealing to the tastes of the connoisseurs and novices alike the Kinvah brand of wine from the Nandi Valley Winery is gaining popularity the world over. The pleasant and cool climate of the Nandi valley, with its fertile soil is apt for producing the finest quality of grapes. The 250 acre Vineyard in the Nandi Valley of the  has been producing fine wines.

There are also plans to expand the business further with an addition of 500 acres near Bangalore, hence increasing the flow of wine to ten million liters. The wines are made with stringent procedure to ensure that the quality is maintained in every bottle. They have also roped in Italian oenologist Luca Patricelli, who is using his expert knowledge to make the wines better with every sip.

The Range of Kinvah Red Wines

Cabrenet -Shiraz: With a mix of both Cabrenet and Shiraz,this wine is ideal for Bar B cubed as well as spicy food. With the undertones of mint and cedar, this wine is tastes best when kept out at room temperature for about an hour.

Manthan: Going well with the rich tandoori food, is the ruby coloured   Manthan wine.It has a sweet and fruity taste which is apt for the palate to go with the spicy Indian food.

Shiraz: This young and zesty wine with the faint taste of raspberry and blackberry is ideal for all kinds of meat dishes as well as seafood. The fool bodied and lightly intense falvour is loved the world over.

The Range of Kinvah White Wines

Sauvignon Blanc: This wine with its tang of gooseberries best goes well with bland food and salads.

Sauvignon  Chenin White: Best served chilled these wines with a  mix of both Sauvignon and Chenin  wines makes a sweet and flowery combination to fried appetizers ,including India’s favorites samosas and pakoras.

The Grape Escape White: As the unique name suggests, this wine is for the novices to start with their wine exploration.

Nandi Valley winery also offers The Fizzo –Sparkling Wine. This wine with its bubbly nature and lemony taste is ideal refreshment.

Wine tourism

The Nandi Valley Winery has set up   inns for wine lovers to spend time and learn more about their wine amidst he scenic vineyard. They also run wine education classes for introducing more people to the finer aspects of wine making and tasting.

How To Reach Nandi Valley Winery

By Air

The Bangalore International Airport is the nearest airport, and it is just 17 kms away from Yelahanka Hobli. It just takes 20 minutes by car to reach there. It would cost Rs. 1,000 on an average.

By Rail

Bangalore City Railway Station is located just over 20 kms away from the Nandi valley winery. There are various trains across India that connects various places to Bangalore .It takes about 33 minutes by road from the Railway Station.

By Road

There are various buses plying from Bangalore city to Yelahanka  Hobli. It is even possible to reach there by autorikshaw or taxi.
