Bangalore is to see a huge infrastructure upgrade with an investment of Rs 1 lakh crore. At the inauguration of the 28th edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025, Asia’s largest technology event, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar revealed so. He said the city is getting a facelift with many upcoming infrastructure projects. The upcoming Bangalore infrastructure projects include a double-decker metro, India’s longest twin tunnel, elevated corridors, a second airport and a futuristic AI city. The Deputy CM said that the new infrastructure projects in Bangalore will ensure faster connectivity, global-standard hubs, modern corridors and an ecosystem that will aid the following era of innovation.
