They engage in profound silence reverentially, keeping at bay any noise like public speeches, the sound of machines, the celebrations of weddings, etc. Furthermore, villagers involved in carpentry, pottery, blacksmithing, etc, engage in their occupation only on the outskirts of the village. The popular belief also goes that any disturbance caused to the deity’s penance will bring about untoward situations like job loss and other mishappenings.

Lord Hanuman of Avarkhod temple possesses spiritual attributes. He showers the devotees with not only material but also spiritual blessings as well. Since he is engaged in penance, he bestows transcendental bliss.
