The Jamboo Savari is the grand elephant procession that closes Mysore Dasara on Vijayadashami. After the pushparchane (floral tribute) at Mysore Palace, a decorated tusker carries the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari in the golden howdah through the streets of Mysuru (Mysore). Behind it come the Dasara elephants, district tableaux, folk troupes and bands, on a route of about 5 km to Bannimantap. The day ends with the torchlight parade (Panjina Kavayathu).
