Karnataka Final Voters List 2024

The Election Commission has released the final voters list in Karnataka. According to the data, 5,37,85,815 voters are eligible to cast votes in the Lok Sabha election 2024. Among these voters 2.69 crores are men, 2.68 crores are women, and 4,920 are others.

17,937 voters above the age of 100 are eligible to cast votes. 12.71 lakh voters are above the age of 80 years. When compared to the draft voters list, the number of voters increased by 4.08 lakhs. Know how to add names in voters list. Also know how to check, delete and moderate names in the list.

How to add names in the voters list

Every vote is very valuable. Every vote counts. It is the duty of every Indian to cast their right to elect their representative.

All those who are above 18 years have voting rights. For this you need to register your name in the voters list.

Step by step guide on how to add names in the voters list

Download form 6 click here.
Fill the form with required documents. Submit your applications in duplicate to add your name in the voters list.

Documents required to add names in the voters list (for new voters registration)

  • Passport size colour photograph
  • Age proof (birth certificate)
  • Address proof (Aadhar, bank pass book, APL/ BPL cards, letters issued by the reputed organisations)
  • Submit the filled applications with the nearest booth level polling officer.

How NRIs can register their names in the voters list

Non Resident Indians (NRIs) who are above 18 years can also register their names in the voters list. But they should not have changed their citizenship. They need to apply through form 6A. To avail this form click here.

The application should be filled according to the Passport details of the applicant. If the application is sent by post, the application should be attached with passport pages with a photo of the applicant. The photocopies need to be  duly attested by the competent official in the Indian Mission in the country the applicant is residing. Applicants need to submit the filled application forms with the respective Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of the constituency. They can also send the filled application forms with required documents via Indian Post.
