The Anna Bhagya Scheme distributes 10 kg of rice every month free of cost to the Antyodaya Anna/Priority Household cardholders belonging to the BPL category.

- One should be a below poverty line (BPL) cardholder or an Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) cardholder.
- One should also have a valid Aadhaar card.
Anna Bhagya Scheme – How to apply
There is no specific application process for Anna Bhagya.
- One can visit the nearby ration shop with the BPL or AAY card and the Aadhar card to claim the free rice.
- After verifying your eligibility and the biometric verification process, the shopkeeper will provide you with free 10 kg rice per person per month.

How to get Anna Bhagya’s amount instead of rice online?
Anna Bhagya DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) payment has been stopped from February 2025.
