Karnataka orders action on encroachers in Hampi

Hampi dropped from world heritage endangered list by UNESCO
Hampi has been removed from the world heritage endangered list by the UNESCO, Bellary District Deputy Commissioner Aravind Srivastav said on Wednesday.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that a communication to this effect has been received and UNESCO will be making official announcement to this effect in January.
