Karnataka Elections and VVPAts

  • After voting on EVM the VVPAts prints a slip with the name and election symbol of the candidate and automatically drops the slip into a sealed  box
  • VVPAts, connected to EVMs are placed in a glass case so that only the voter can see it
  • It gives the voter to verify her/his vote
  • The slip is displayed for 7 seconds
  • Polling officials can access the machines
