Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS) was established to develop a medical college to provide comprehensive treatment and advanced care to ailing patients and devise better treatment and care methods.
The institute is located in Belgaum, Karnataka. It was founded in 2005. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. It is also recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Courses Offered
The course offered is the undergraduate MBBS program. Postgraduate courses are offered as well.
Admissions
50% is a pre-requisite for PUC- 2 Science examinations and 10+2 Science courses for other states. The selection would be done by CET. Admission through open merit is 50% and reserved categories is 50%.
Facilities Offered
The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with fully equipped library and laboratories. Gymnasiums, lecture halls, auditoriums, and museums are also part of the campus infrastructure.
