GetCetGo – How It Works
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa recently launched an online platform, GetCetGo for registered CET and NEET aspirants. It was developed by the Karnataka Examination Board in collaboration with Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation (KEONICS).
The platform has a web portal and an app through which students can access free online coaching for the exams. The app can be freely downloaded for iOS and Android devices. In the case of wanting to access the information through the app, students will also have to download the Edureader app.
While students must be connected to the internet throughout the session to study through the web portal, they need an internet connection only when downloading content through the app.
Course material available to students includes chapter-wise practice papers, mock tests, syllabus lesson synopsis papers, revision videos and more. Homework assignments along with the solutions are also available.
These have been designed specifically to help students prepare for the exams without stepping out of their homes.
Tests can be taken only once but they can be reviewed as many times as needed. According to data released by the government, GetCetGo can benefit up to 2 lakh students in Karnataka.
Accessing GetCetGo
Students who had registered for the CET and NEET exams are being sent a user ID and password through SMSes to the mobile number linked to their application. The User ID will be the student’s Karnataka CET Id. Students registered for the CET 2020 will receive login credentials by April 26th, 2020.
