The Aero Show 2013 has kicked off at the Yelahanka Air base yesterday amidst huge fun fare. India’s Defence Minister Sri A.K Antony along with Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne and DRDO Chief KV Saraswat flagged off the show.
One of its kinds in India, Aero Show Bangalore pulls thousands of people to witness this aviation extravaganza for the next five days. With around 27 participating countries, 78 overseas delegates along with more than 700 companies, this is unarguably one of the biggest Aero shows that takes place in India.
In the next five days, full day exhibitions, seminars and meeting are scheduled for officials as well as general visitors. Among the top participating nations, France promises to entertain spectators with their air might with over 40 companies in participation. Other prominent countries include America, Israeli, India, Russia, Germany, Ukraine, UK and other European nations.
With tight security arrangements, this AERO Show is all set to enthrall the audience with spectacular aerial exercises with exclusive range of aircraft. However, children below 16 years are not permitted on 6th, 7th and 8th Feb. Please ensure to have ear plugs to avoid damage because of the high decibel performances.
How To Reach Aero India Show
Elaborate traffic arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth flowing traffic in the next five days. The traffic police have requested to use BMTC buses to reach the Aero Show. However, Belary road and the roads leading to the Yelahanka Air Base will witness traffic jams and people traveling towards BIA are advised to take precautions accordingly.

Parking has been arranges at the Indian Air Force domestic area on the right side of the BIA- bound Bellary road. Please use Gate no. 5.
