Elite Vintage Winery India Pvt. Ltd. is located in Mudhol in the Bagalkot District of Karnataka in India. The company sources its grapes from its plantations at Mudhol in the Krishna Valley. The place’s climatic condition and the grape growers’ dedicated efforts result in the growth of a variety of grapes that are perfect for developing high-quality wines.
The state-of-the-art winery is headed by Vinod Guraddi, the managing director of the company. The company nurtures the grapes with extreme care. Its 180 acres of plantation produce grapes that result in vintage wines with pulsating aromas, appealing flavours and splendid textures. The experience and expertise of the company in the wine-making sector resulted in the evolution ‘from grape to glass’ that is ideal for Indian and international markets.

Elite Vintage Winery India Pvt. Ltd. aims to bring perfection in the taste and quality of their wines. The machinery of the winery has been imported from renowned French and Italian companies. The winery follows world-class techniques for manufacturing, storing and preserving wines. It is associated with several experts worldwide who offer advice in enhancing the quality of their wines. It can produce 1 million litres of wine per year.
Wine Varieties from Elite Vintage Winery
The winery currently has four wines from the 2009 Elite Vintage Shack on the market. These wines are:
GAGAN – Passion embracing the skies
Cabernet Shiraz: A red wine made from a perfect blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. The lingering taste of the wine feels like blackberry and dark fruit with an appealing mint-rich fruity aroma. It goes well with all kinds of Indian curry and meat.
DARBAR – Royal drink, Royal moments
Shiraz: This intensely coloured and richly flavoured wine has an alluring taste of black currant that tingles around the glands. It is made from thinned bunches of grapes that are soaked under mild sunshade. As such, the fruity juice is retained under the fruit’s skin and is crushed to the last drop. It is a perfect drink to pair with any Asian cuisine.
ULHAS – Where joy knows no bounds
Cabernet Sauvignon: This is a crisp wine with an exotic aroma. The cluster of grapes are grown in a cool and shaded place and supported by verticals. As the grapes ripen under the optimum conditions, they retain their crispiness and acidic content and offer a fresh taste to the wine. It is perfect for chicken dishes, vegetable delicacies and meat cooked in spicy sauces.
SILVERDEW – Dew in the mist of passion
Sauvignon Blanc: This light and sweet wine has a crisp taste and grassy aroma. The grapes are harvested with a tinge of an acidic note. They are then fermented and filtered to achieve a fine form. It goes well with spicy food and coastal cuisine.
