It might prove as a major setback for the former Chief Minister of Karnataka - BS Yeddyurappa as Karnataka High Court on Tuesday, Jan 31 rejected his plea regarding two corruption cases.
Yeddyurappa, earlier had moved the High Court asking the court to quash the investigation against him by the Lokayukta. The Lokayukta of the state has been investigating the two cases against the former CM over illegal land denotification.

As per the media reports, on Sunday, Jul 31, when Yeddyurappa was about to table his resignation, BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu faced the wrath from the former CM as he (Naidu) reportedly trying to appease him (BSY).

The Karnataka chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Monday, Jan 31 claimed there was a conspiracy to eliminate him by taking recourse to black magic. He also added that he has no guarantee for his life and not even sure of returning home after going to Vidhana Soudha.
The chief Minister who is already reeling in number of controversies, courted another fresh controversy on Monday. Yeddyurappa's statement immediately drew ridicule from the Opposition parties and his remarks are likely to increase the political pressure in the state.
