    Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna has expressed deep shock and sorrow on the demise of Kannada Superstar Dr M Rajkumar. In a message, Krishna said: "No words are adequate to describe the loss of Rajkumar from this world."

  • Rajaji, a votary of disarmament
    People have to be participative in governing society, regardless of their economic status, Maharashtra Governor S.M. Krishna said on Wednesday.

    Delivering the Rajaji memorial lecture at a meeting organised here by the Triplicane Cultural Academy and the Kasturi Srinivasan Library, Mr. Krishna said that Rajaji regarded "bad governance or absence of good governance" as one of the causes for all the evils of the country. Good governance must be the cornerstone of a democracy and it should be participatory, accountable, transparent, responsive, effective and efficient, equitable and inclusive.
