H D Kumaraswamy
Profile
HDK, as he is commonly referred as, has definitely been a 'pleasant welcome' change for the citizens of Karnataka. The very first day in office he made a reference to Dr. Abdul Kalam's preachings which he wants to implement. Kudos HDK!. We hope he will implement most of his plans - both for the rural and urban population. HDK has decided to donate his entire monthly salary to the help the poor in his constituency (Ramanagaram).

However the majority of the public in Karnataka did not support JD(S) actions when it came to the transfer of power to BJP. This indeed will be a black mark in his political career. But then public memory is short.
