Directorate of Welfare of Disabled and Senior Citizens, Department of Women and Child Development, Govt of Karnataka has authorized Dignity Foundation, an NGO promoting welfare of senior citizens, to issue 'Govt ID Cards' to senior citizens of Bangalore.

Those whoare above 60 years can apply for ID cards by producing xerox copies of age and address proof with 2 recent passport photos. There is a process fee of Rs 25.
