ABOUT FAME INDIA
FAME India is a registered trust formed by concerned philanthropists, with the objective of working on developmental issues of our society, with a particular focus on disabilities.Our mission is to reach out & empower persons with disabilities, so that they may lead a life of dignity and be self-reliant. There are challenges galore - Cerebral palsy, mental retardation, mental illness, Down's syndrome, learning disability, autism and, visual, speech, hearing & mobility related challenges. Considering the enormous needs of this society and the limited resources available, we do realize the enormity of the task we have undertaken. Fame India wishes to creatively and efficiently utilize, resources and opportunities that exist within the community. We have enlisted the support of interested volunteers, and work jointly with other organizations, companies, and the government, in fulfilling this task.

THE 3 U'S
A vocational training centre for special children in partnership, with the Spastics Society of Karnataka. Skills such as block printing, cover making, greeting cards, gift wrapper making, needlework, computer training and much more are imparted to special children. The program focuses on soliciting market orders to make the children self-reliant.
An awareness program in schools and colleges, in partnership with Bangalore Cares. Field visits to Old folk homes, Orphanages and Opportunity Schools, Lectures & educational films, Workshops on sign language, Braille etc. will Culminate in a mega awareness and fund raisisng program, "Uthsaha - 2001" in December. UTHSAV A cultural and sports platform for the all round development of persons with disabilities. We look forward to your positive participation. Thank you.
