Siddara Betta is one of the visited places near Madhugiri and is a rocky hill situated in Tumkur district. The place lies at a distance of about 100 kms from Bangalore. The place is mainly known for a temple and a few caves located at the top of the hill.

It takes about one hour to reach the top of the hill from the base.
How to reach Siddara Betta
Take Bangalore-Pune highway and after crossing Dobaspet take a deviation towards Kortagere. After travelling for two kms from Koratagere towards Madhugiri take a deviation towards the left.
Siddara Betta is about 12 kms from Koratagere on the way to Madhugiri from Tumkur.
Though plenty of buses operate from Tumkur to Koratagere and Madhugiri, the bus service towards Siddara Betta is quite limited.
