Hotel Management Courses In Karnataka
Most institutions in Karnataka offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various specialized fields of hotel management.
Most of the undergraduate hotel management courses conducted by various institutions are of three to four years duration. Selection is based on the scores obtained by the students in the entrance examination and personal interviews conducted. Candidates with an undergraduate degree may also pursue their post graduate degree in hospitality administration. Degrees offered are,
- Bachelor of Hotel Management
- Bachelor Degree in Hospitality and Catering Science
- Diploma in Hotel Management
- Bachelor of Science program in Hospitality
- Hotel Administration.
The Bangalore University academic council has decided to introduce functional Kannada as a compulsory subject for III semester Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) for academic year 2009-10. Kannada will be a non-credit subject.
